We are the main provider of Modern Apprenticeships within Shetland.
Modern Apprenticeships are work based training schemes. They allow apprentices to receive the training required to attain Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) whilst in full time employment.
Skills Development Scotland administer the government funding to pay for apprenticeship training. Each year they update their targets and programme rules. The main target group is 16 – 24 years old, however, there is no upper age limit.
