New Date for UHI Shetland Graduation

UHI Shetland's 2022-23 Graduation will now be held at Mareel on Friday 8th December 2023.

Regretfully, due to the ongoing national industrial dispute and the action short of a strike by EIS-FELA, we have decided to postpone UHI Shetland’s graduation. The industrial action comprises of a boycott on resulting by teaching staff, which means UHI Shetland may not receive some of our students’ results in time for us to hold our planned graduation in August. To be able to celebrate all of our students’ achievements together, we have taken the decision to postpone our graduation and student celebration.

We are keen to ensure that we can deliver a celebration of your achievement, and to make your day special. Therefore, the new date for this year’s graduation is Friday 8 December 2023, at Mareel. We hope you can join us then so that we can celebrate your achievements together. More information will be published on our graduation page nearer the time.
