Scotland’s Top College – In More Ways Than One!

Shetland College UHI as part of the Shetland tertiary education sector is not only Scotland’s top college geographically, but Scotland’s top college in supporting full-time further education students to achieve their awards. 77.8% of students achieved their awards in 2017/2018, 11.7% higher than Scotland as whole.

Susan Berry, Deputy Principal at Shetland College UHI commented: “We are very proud of the continuing success rate of our students. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our student population and the high quality teaching and student support offered at the college. While the Shetland Tertiary Education sector has been under review and in the midst of change, services across the sector have continued to be delivered to a high standard, with student experience and outcomes being the focus of our dedicated and passionate staff teams”.
