UHI Shetland seeks new Board of Directors members

UHI Shetland, the successful provider of higher and further education in Shetland, is currently recruiting for at least two Non-Executive Directors to sit on its Board of Management.

We are seeking individuals to help guide the strategic direction of UHI Shetland and foster an environment which enables the potential of learners to be maximised. They will bring their expertise and skills and their knowledge of the community to support the management and staff as they continue the development and work of UHI Shetland.

Current Chairman of the Board, Davie Sandison said:

“The role of non-executive Board Member is pivotal in developing our strategic aims and in ensuring sound stewardship and best practice. We want to provide a high-quality experience for students and learners and ensure the student voice is central to decision making at all levels.”

The Board is keen to receive applications with expertise in management of corporate matters, especially those pertaining to Audit and Finance.
