Centre for Island Creativity
The Centre for Island Creativity is a dedicated research centre that focuses on supporting research, post-graduate taught learning, and knowledge exchange both within the highlands and islands of Scotland and more widely in the UK and internationally.
Our centre recognises the unique value and wealth of knowledge that can be found in remote locations, where creative practitioners and thinkers choose to establish their studio or production base. Through our use of online collaboration tools, we bring together a wide network of academic partners and mentors working in the creative and cultural industries from across the UK and internationally
