The Level 5 Qualification gives an introduction to all of the different areas of the hospitality industry and the types of service they offer.

Course Summary
Completion of this course will improve employment chances in the sector and will give candidates the skills to work in a kitchen or in customer facing role, in a variety of hospitality business types.
It will also give candidates some excellent life skills, including cookery, increasing confidence in communicating with others and working as a team. The event planning content will equip candidates with a number of transferable skills for planning of all types, including personal life planning.
Pupils will gain practical experience in: menu planning; preparing, cooking and presenting a range of foods in a professional kitchen; serving food and drinks; undertaking reception duties and customer care; and planning, organising and running a small hospitality event.
