Sports Leadership
The Level 5 Qualification in Sports Leadership is designed to use sport and physical activity to help young people develop and hone their leadership skills whilst helping themselves and others stay physically active.

Course Summary
The course consists of 5 Units of study and 5 hours or delivery in 2 separate settings once the course has finished. The units are:
- Building Leadership Skills
- Plan, lead and evaluate sport/physical activity sessions
- Assist in planning and leading a sports/physical activity event
- Lead activities which promote a healthy lifestyle
- Lead sport/physical activity sessions in your community

Progression
Progression
Once qualified the Sports Leader will be able to lead with indirect supervision and will be responsible for maintaining the safety of a session.
