Library services
The College Library and Information Service is here for students at all levels. Whether you are in college every day, once a week or once a term, we can support you in your learning.
We can help with finding physical and electronic resources for your course, and we provide a calm and comfortable study area.
Come in and browse our range of print resources, use a library computer or bring your own device. You can book our small group room, at the Lerwick campus Library to study with others, or to practice your presentations.
We will always be happy to advise you on the trickier aspects of using information in your assignments, such as avoiding plagiarism and using the proper referencing methods.

Where are we?
There is a Library at both of Shetland UHI’s Lerwick and Scalloway campuses. You will find resources suitable for the courses based at each campus library. As a Shetland UHI student you have access to the resources and facilities at both libraries and resources can be requested at, and borrowed from, either Library. The Library at the Lerwick campus is situated directly opposite the main College entrance and the Library at the Scalloway campus is on the first floor of the John Goodlad Centre building.
