Part Time Fee Grant Information 2020

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation SAAS are unable to accept postal applications/evidence for Part Time Fee Grant applications (PTFG) and will also be unable to post award letters to students. 

Alternative arrangements for PTFG applications are as follows.

Clicking on section 3 will take you to an electronic form. Please complete this as fully as possible and either:

  • Save a copy to your computer, then send electronically to shetland.college@uhi.ac.uk
  • Print and send paper copy to:  Student Records, Shetland College, Gremista, Lerwick, ZE1 0PX

Students should complete the PTFG application as normal ensuring all details are correct prior to submitting. Incomplete forms will not processed.  Supporting evidence and documentation is not required at this time.  SAAS will liaise with students via Email for any additional documentation required. 

PTFG applications are to be submitted to Student Record office (SR), Shetland College UHI.

Forms will be reviewed and basic eligibility checked prior to submission to SAAS by Shetland College via electronic spreadsheet.

SAAS will process applications within their normal timescales.  They will email students directly to confirm their entitlement.  Students will not receive a paper award letter.

Shetland College UHI will receive monthly reports from SAAS confirming awards.
